Wellbeing at Lotusland
Nature restores us and promotes a sense of wellbeing. This year, Lotusland launches a series of programs designed to have you engage with nature and experience the Garden with a fresh perspective.
Skilled professionals will lead a series of Wellbeing Wednesdays, special sessions for regular doses of nature’s healing, resilience, and a sense of wholeness.
Each class consists of a 45-minute guided activity followed by a 45-minute walk in the Garden.
Our August 16th Wellbeing Wednesday session will feature a Tai Chi with Chao Pang. Chao will introduce and share Qi/Chi exercises working with the flow of the Garden to promote inner peace and calm through out the day.
Chao Pang immigrated with his parents to the US when he was 13 from Taiwan. He has a Master degree in Physics, became a successful entrepreneur while continue to pursue the Eastern traditions through study of martial arts, Eastern philosophies and energetic. He had studied martial arts for many decades and currently focuses on Tai Ji and has traveled extensively and studied with 3 different Tai Ji masters of Yang, and Wu-Hao traditions. Now he enjoys sharing his knowledge to all those who are interested in understanding eastern philosophy, energetic and internal martial arts.
