Lotusland is committed to creating a Garden that is accessible to all visitors. Since we are a historic estate, some paths are not Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant. Be sure to request an accessibility map at the Visitor Center for all ADA paths and routes to enjoy the Garden. You can also view and download the map. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for loan at our Visitor Center at no charge. You may request a wheelchair upon booking.
Please contact our Visitor Services team at 805.969.9990 to share how we can best support your experience in the Garden.
For easy access to the Garden, Lotusland offers two handicapped parking spots located near our Visitor Center.
Visitors with accessibility needs have the option to drive up to our Visitor Center for effortless pickups and drop-offs.
Lotusland can accommodate wheelchairs and walkers on a slightly modified tour. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for loan at our Visitor Center at no charge. If a member of your party utilizes a wheelchair or walker, please notify a Visitor Services team member when booking your reservation. Lotusland volunteers and staff are not permitted to push wheelchairs.
For the health and safety of our guests and Garden, Lotusland has a no-pets policy. However, we welcome trained service animals as defined by the ADA. To avoid any delay during check-in, contact our Reservations Office to receive pre-authorization. Emotional support/comfort animals are not permitted. Vehicles with unauthorized pets may be turned away without a refund or rescheduling. Pets are not allowed to remain in parked vehicles on Lotusland property.
Accessible restrooms are located at our Visitor Center.
If your party includes non-English speaking visitors, please ask one of our Visitor Services team members about our wide range of foreign-language docents.
