Well-being Wednesdays: KIND MIND FAMILY MEDITATION DAY(POSTPONED)

Family Meditation and Mindfulness Workshop – POSTPONED
EASE ECO-ANXIETY with mindful nature immersion that engages all seven senses as the team from Kind Mind will lead families as they connect with others and practice mindful communication, movement and body awareness, meditation, visualization, and nature-connection.
Vivian Valentin, PhD, Harrison Heyl, M.A, and Alejandra Tashma from Kind Mind will inspire awe experiences in the Garden, lead hands on activities for both parent and child, and teach about our interdependence with nature and each other.
Bring what you need for comfort, for example, mat, cushion, layers of clothing, water. We will provide chairs.
Recommended for children ages 8-12
Kind Mind SB works with communities to implement nature-based mindfulness and compassion practices that enhance learning, emotion regulation, resilience, relationships, equity and wellbeing for youth and adults.
