This planting method is a relatively modern technique with origins in older Japanese styles of tsuri-shinobu, nearai, shitakusa, and kusamono. Kokedama have now become popular worldwide with international floral designers developing their own signature designs. The workshop will include a brief Zoom presentation on the origins of kokedama, an instructional video, and virtual feedback from our staff as you create your masterpiece at home.
