Gardens in Paradise: Fernald Point- SOLD OUT

Proceeds for this fundraising program benefit the care of Lotusland’s gardens.

JOIN US for an exclusive tour of Fernald Point’s most stunning private gardens. Led by world-renowned landscape designer Eric Nagelmann this progressive garden party will reveal the magic behind four unforgettable properties. Participants will meet the homeowners and engage in an afternoon of botanic and architectural discovery, while enjoying fine wine and cocktails along with an exquisite multi-course meal catered by the award-winning Acme Hospitality.

This experience includes tours of four private garden and is limited to 30 people. Reservations are required.
Tickets for this fundraiser are $2,000 per guest and are $1,750 tax-deductible.
Sponsorship for the 2024 series is $5,000 and includes an additional tour in November (details to be announced soon).

For our Gardens in Paradise program, award-wining Acme hospitality proposes a progressive and shared dining experience featuring locally sourced and seasonal ingredients that celebrate the bounty of the Central Coast. Acclaimed chefs—Emilie Sandven (Helena Avenue Bakery), Jason Paluska (The Lark), Jeremy Tummel (La Paloma Cafe), and Elier Rodriguez (Loquita)—have curated a distinctive culinary experience inspired by Lotusland while reflecting each chef’s ethos. You can look forward to bespoke delicacies pay homage to our beloved Lotusland and Santa Barbara’s spectacular bounty from both ocean and farm.

About Eric Nagelmann

Eric Nagelmann is a preeminent landscape designer whose international work and reputation are unparalleled. A Santa Barbara native, raised a stone’s throw from Lotusland, Nagelmann was taken under the wing at an early age by the renowned artist and landscape designer Jack Henderson Baker. Today, he is recognized for his dramatic designs at iconic landscaping projects from Lotusland’s Dunlap Cactus Garden to the garden at the iconic Sheats Goldstein residence, now operated by Lacma and famously featured in The Big Lebowski.
