Together they will lead an interactive workshop using plant material gathered at Lotusland. Participants will receive instruction on the basics behind ecoprinting including: fabric selection and preparation\, appropriate plants\, and bundling tips. All materials are included in the workshop fee and participants will go home with one silk table runner and one silk scarf of their own design\, each prepared using a different mordanting technique. The workshop will culminate with a discussion of the results from the day and a showcase of other ecoprinted works from the instructors

Join ANFT Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide Elena Rios for an immersive experience in the Garden. Elena draws inspiration from her grandmother\, who was a Curandera as well as her partnership as a cultural practitioner with Japanese Shinto Priest\, Hiroji Seikiguch. She is an indigenous Azteca Chichimeca woman of the Americas\, with distant genetic Chumash links multiethnic Spanish\, and Scot-Irish ancestry. \n\n\n\n\n\nElena Rios\n\n\n\n\n\nElena Ríos is an ever evolving ANFT Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide and Inter-disciplinary Artist.
