Non-transferable. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nReserve Now\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWell-being at Lotusland \n\n\n\nJoin PALMA Colectiva and Belle Hahn\, for Spirit Garden\, an afternoon immersion at Lotusland garden embodying the spirit of the garden through relation to the plants and elemental forces that create it’s alchemy. Through Tea Ceremony\, mindful nature walking\, nourishing food\, and a private performance from Moon Valley Choir\, we’ll drop in to the creative essence and regenerative spirit of the garden and it’s rich history of a place of sanctuary and exploration.  \n\n\n\nWe’ll begin with Cha Dao Tea Ceremony with Morgann Francesca in the Japanese Garden. Cha Dao\, or “the way of tea” is a silent tea meditation from the Chinese lineage bringing one in relation to spirit and the natural wonders of plant and water. We will then mindfully move through the garden to a beautiful nourishing spread and enjoy some conversation around the history of the garden and it’s cultural significance. Following is a one of a kind private performance by Moon Valley Choir- a collective of women local to Ojai who sing in celebration of life\, healing\, and exploration of the great mystery. Through song\, dance\, and storytelling\, they perform rituals and rites\, guiding others into the heart of profound experience.  \n\n\n\nGifting provided by Danuta Skin.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPalma Collectiva\n\n\n\nThe Mission of PALMA is to bring together multiple healing modalities working through the mind\, body\, and spirit in a curated manner that will inspire and bring forth deep wellness. SUMMARY:SBMA Adult Art Studio Class En Plein Air at Lotusland
DESCRIPTION:Public Event On-Site \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\nLotusland + SBMA Members: $125 (SBMA Members please provide your Member ID in the comment box at checkout)Non-Members: $175Non-refundable\, no guest passes. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nReservations opening soon\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nEN PLEIN AIR at Lotusland\n\n\n\n“I too find flowers beautiful…yet there is hidden within a deeper beauty.” Piet Mondrian  \n\n\n\nCurious beginners and artists of all levels are invited to paint en plein air in the Lotusland gardens\, seeing nature through the eyes of one of modern art’s most influential figures. Museum Teaching Artist Nicola Ghersen will guide participants step by step through simple watercolor and gouache techniques\, creating close-up diptych compositions with delicate micro pen details. All art is inspired by Piet Mondrian’s early flower painting\, Rhododendron\, ca. 1905\, on view at SBMA.  \n\n\n\nBefore developing his iconic geometric grids in bold primary colors\, Mondrian drew deeply from the beauty of the natural world. He remained fond of these early nature studies\, throughout his life often keeping a wall in his private living quarters devoted to displaying them. During this afternoon workshop participants will follow the same thread by selecting plants and flowers in the garden to paint in quiet personal studies. \n\n\n\n\nLotusland x Santa Barbara Museum of Art \n\n\n\nLotusland is proud to partner with the Santa Barbara Museum of Art to bring the creative experience of art-making into the Garden. This ongoing collaboration offers adult art classes in an inspiring natural setting\, inviting participants to explore artistic techniques while immersed in the beauty of Lotusland’s landscapes. Whether drawing from the textures of rare plants or the ever-changing light\, these sessions celebrate the connection between art and nature\, fostering creativity in one of California’s most extraordinary botanical gardens.
