Horticulture

fall ginkgo leaves in the Japanese Garden Many factors influence the health and appearance of a garden. At Lotusland, we are committed to preserving the design and plantings of Madame Walska and earlier owners of the property. Gardens do change, and while Lotusland is no exception, hopefully the changes will be subtle and aimed at improving the health of the soil and plants, maintaining the drama of large (sometimes old and declining) plants and planting schemes, and adding to the educational value of the collections.
